Musumeci is back on Batti Batti with a new Ep of three tracks remarking his sound between the old school deep house and classic chicago traxx flavour. The Ep is opened by Blue and its anthemic bassline: A dreamy trip on alternating current where a square wave that bounces since the first second of the track serves as a perfect launch base for the fascinating synth interlacement that slides on top of the simple but effective 808 drum patterns. Follows the tile track Walking Back with its 909 straight groove and a more dancefloor attitude underlined by a progressive structure, syncopated piano chords and the gentle growl of a rising synth line. Last but not least Musumeci gives us Squaredome, an amusing dj tool developed around the sound of 808 drums and of course a massive dose of square synth bass.
